I've just finished reading 'So You Want to Date a Teacher?' It is compulsory reading for all teachers, partners of teachers, parents of teachers, ex-students and parents of students! Interspersed with inter-textual references, anecdotes, letters and poems, this hilarious book really resonates.
You don't need to be wanting to date a teacher to enjoy this collection of anecdotes by Australian blogger, teacher (and now now author) Pinky Poinker. I'm a HUGE fan of Pinky's blog and this book includes a stack of laugh-out-loud (very funny) moments in the life of a teacher.

I love the pseudonyms Pinky gives to her students and this light-hearted look at a challenging profession is great fun.
